Triple A Gwinnett Stripers
For 17 years, the Gwinnett Stripers have proudly served as the Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. Originally known as the Gwinnett Braves at their inception, the team relocated from Richmond, Virginia, after the 2008 season and began playing at Coolray Field, now referred to as Gwinnett Field.
Manager: Kanekoa Texeira
Coaching/Managing Experience: 10 years
Kanekoa Texeira is in his third season leading the club in 2026. A former right-handed pitcher, Texeira played in the Braves organization from 2014 to 2016 before transitioning into coaching and managing. He has steadily climbed the Braves’ minor league system, managing at multiple levels before taking over in Gwinnett in 2024.
Hitting Coach: Dan DeMent
Coaching/Managing Experience: 18 years
Dan DeMent is in his third season with the club in 2026. After spending 15 years in the Tampa Bay Rays organization, including two seasons as the Rays’ assistant hitting coach at the Major League level, he joined the Braves in 2024.
Pitching Coach: Lance Carter
Coaching/Managing Experience: 15 seasons
Lance Carter brings 15 years of coaching experience and a background as a former Major League reliever. He joined the Braves organization in 2023 and previously served as the club’s Rehab Pitching Coordinator before being promoted to Triple-A before the 2026 season. Carter is known for helping pitchers refine their mechanics, improve pitch execution, and prepare for the major leagues.
