The Columbus Clingstones are the Atlanta Braves' Double-A affiliate and an important part of the organization's player development system. After the Braves' Double-A franchise relocated to Columbus, the Clingstones officially debuted in 2025, bringing affiliated Minor League Baseball back to the city.
The Clingstones play their home games at Synovus Park in downtown Columbus. Their arrival opened a new chapter of Braves baseball in the region while establishing Columbus as the Double-A stop on the road through Atlanta's farm system.
Columbus plays an important developmental role between the lower levels of the organization and Triple-A Gwinnett. During the club's inaugural season, Didier Fuentes, Rolddy Muñoz and Hayden Harris all spent time with the Clingstones before making their Major League debuts with Atlanta.

Harris was dominant during his time with Columbus in 2025 before earning a promotion to Triple-A Gwinnett. He made his Major League debut with Atlanta on September 2, 2025.
Ritchie made eight starts for Columbus in 2025, posting a 3.49 ERA and representing the Braves in the All-Star Futures Game. He continued through Triple-A and made his Major League debut with Atlanta on April 23, 2026.
