High A Rome Emperors
The Rome Braves have been the High-A affiliate for the Atlanta Braves since 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Low-A team from 2003 to 2020. In 2023, the team underwent a rebranding, having previously been known simply as the Rome Braves.

Wynston Sawyer is in his fourth year with the Braves organization, having started with the FCL Braves in 2023. A former catcher, Sawyer was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles, where he spent seven years. After electing free agency, he joined the Twins organization, playing his final three professional seasons in their minor league system.
